To catch the man who killed the young prostitute, Victoria Marescu, thrown in the river after her arms were severed, Dix gets on the tracks of the unsigned author of a painting of a beautiful girl without arms. To shed light on that grisly situation, Jan must solve the enigma surrounding a mysterious “wonder chamber”, where an amazing collection of macabre artifacts is held.
