Columbia University, 40 years ago: while a student demonstration is crushed by the police, in a government secret lab the basis of a crazy project are laid. New York, today: a desperate man asks Martin Mystère for help, to solve a problem with his conscience: he fears to have killed a colleague, but his memories of the event are nebulous, and he’s not able to clearly separate invention and reality.
