A young and strikingly attractive ventriloquist is traveling around New England on board her wagon. She has the puppet Corky with her, and the puppet is a genuine protagonist of the shows they put on in city squares. But the marionette isn’t the girl’s only travel companion: wherever Babe and her show come to town, death puts in an appearance too! So if he wants to bring the horrible chain of mysterious crimes to an end, Brendon, who is attracted by the fascinating artist, will have to follow the trail of blood the wagon leaves behind and discover the terrible secret hidden in Babe and Corky’s past!
