Pretending not to know about his betrayal, the pards and Montales make “Cobra” Galindez believe that they want to take shelter in the United States, using him to drive away the pursuers on a false trail. And, while Olivera’s troops are thus diverted to the south, our heroes put an explosive plan into action: to attack the Escalante penitentiary with Galindez’ guerrillas in order to lure the military garrison of Chihuahua into a trap, in order to leave the city dismantled and ready for the conquest!
