The pards and Montales, with “Cobra” Galindez and the loyal Father Elìas, free Tex from the governor’s place of Chihuahua, unaware of falling into a trap! In fact, Galindez is a traitor who has bartered his immunity with the hide of Montales, destined to die with the gringos during an ambush in the Corvada mine, guaranteed by the vile bandit as a safe den. However, Cobra didn’t reckon with his lover, Conchita, who had heard him plot with the conspirators. And now, though imprisoned, she is able to inform Father Elìas, who rushes to sound the alarm so that the machination fails!
