Gudred Olgersonnun, a rich entrepreneur of the northern land, hires Nathan, Legs and Jack O’Ryan together with a local agent, Thorwald, to protect his annual whale hunt. However a group of ecologists, who have commandeered a submarine equipped with a special shielding device that makes it invisible, plan to sabotage the whale hunt. On board the ecologists’ submarine is Miriam, an ESPer who gets in touch – through telepathy – with the great mutant whale Testarossa…

Nathan Never and Andy Havilland go into the seedy area of Boulevard Le Corbusier to capture Shado Haara, the cybernaut and known killer. It seems that Shado is going to steal some valuable data which are about to be sent out on the Web but in order to do so he needs a Koike Kabuto deck, a piece of equipment which can connect his mind to computers. But the young criminal Kino Dominguez also wants to get his hands on the data to pay off a debt and the only people who have that sort of deck are his friend Pearl and the revolting Crocodile…
