Lilith finds herself on the Italian front, while WWI is raging, the day before Caporetto rout. This time, her target has a face and a name— it’s a member of the Italian Alpine troops, whose name was drawn for the “decimation”. He’s now running away from the military authorities, and his company's captain is tracking him down, looking for a private revenge. Lilith will have to follow his prey along the whole front, form Carnia mountains to the Carso plateau…
