After his father’s death, young Katie Evans goes back to Lamont, Montana. there she finds Vera, her stepmother, ex nurse of his father, who now inherited and owns the "Circle T" ranch. Tex and his pards, on the tracks of two dangerous robbers, learn that they could be hiding in the land of the Evans; when they go to the ranch to investigate, the find a shady plan to take from Katie her legal inheritance.
