A volcano, believed to be extinguished, is beginning to wake up again, stirring fear among the Natives living on its slopes. Legends say that a sleeping god has been awakened by the soldiers of the fort on the hillside, built by the White man. To calm the enraged god down there's only one way: to drive out the military and to offer one of them as a sacrifice, throwing him inside the mouth of the volcano! The Spirit-with-the-Hatchet must rescue the designated victim, but also save as many people as possible, when the mountain begins to spit out streams of molten lava…
