New Atlantis, the Utopian city described by Francis Bacon, and Vilcabamba, the legendary centre of Peru, searched for in vain by the archaeologists, are in fact the same city, that is to say the mysterious city of Ilcaban. William Shakespeare, in his time, somehow managed to discover this fact, which inspired him to write the “Tempest”. Martin Mystère is also involved in the search for this lost civilization, giving rise to an adventure in which Angie, the Elsewhere base and Dee and Kelly all reappear.
