A woman named Lilith dreams about an incident of her youth, which she doesn'remember at all. Her dream is about a magical night she spent with her boyfriend at the time: Nathan Never. But in her dream Lilith sees strange beings she has never met before. The woman shows Nathan a drawing of those creatures: the Alfa agent doesn't recall anything about that night, too, but recognizes the monks of the Yakumono cult, the keepers of the Shanackies circles that – according to some theories – are supposed to be the vaults of Time. Nathan always wondered if his encounters with the strange monks were caused by hallucinations, and to try and solve this mystery once and for all begins a personal investigation, with the help of his longtime friend…
