Ten years went by since the time when Nathan – joining a scientific expedition of the Museum of Worlds to the torrid equatorial forests in Diamond Point – witnessed a strange event, a so called “Close encounter of the third kind”: a direct contact with alien life forms. The expedition members saw a mission that recovered a great amount of alien corpses, who fell on our planet a long time ago. At that time, the Alfa agent met Holt, a pleasant local smalltime crook, who was astounded by the event as well. Now Holt is asking Alfa Agency to investigate the disappearing of his partner in crime Rico: he strongly believes the aliens are back to Earth… Facts seem to prove him right, but this time the aliens' goal could be the complete annihilation of the human race…
