Others are victims of hypnotic signals sent by Than. Terry Ying is among them, in a coma as a result of Than’s intervention. Nathan Never is hired by Bruce Brandon to shed some light on the killings. Meanwhile, on Tersicore, old Li Xiaolong is dying and must decide who is going to succeed him…
