Year 1946. The U.S. Navy sets up a huge expedition to Antarctica, known as “Operation Highjump”; it ends before the expected time, officially because of some accidents cause by the excessive cold. The goal of the mission is to do scientific researching in the Polar environment, but soon there’s a rumor about a different objective: a secret Nazi base, that forced the members of the Highjump to a quick retreat. Fact or legend? The Detective of the Impossible investigates – and at the same time, he doesn’t investigate – on one of the most disquieting mysteries he had to face in his career.
