Eminent scientists kill themselves in remorse for ancient crimes never really committed. Even Martin Mystère is in the clutches of a false memory: that of having killed a colleague in order to take the credit for his discoveries. Yet another of the Men in Black’s schemes, which almost drives him mad. The story that begins in the second part shows Martin in a different perspective: in the clutches of some mysterious beings: a cat and a harpy from an unknown dimension and a murderer gifted with second sight.
