Lake’s Fur Company, a Chicago company managed by General Blow, does not accept competition. It wants to control the commerce of skins over the entire territory, including between Lakes Michigan and Erie. In order to eliminate the group of autonomous hunters, Blow kidnaps the son of their leader, Harry Keller. Searching for him, Zagor, Chico and Keller steal into the tentacular metropolis of Chicago…
