This time the Investigator of Nightmares has to deal with a peculiar species of ghost: the Ungennant, i.e. the “Nameless One”. This is a long-forgotten spirit being, forever on a quest to find its identity, and by now full of fury at not being remembered by anyone at all. Over time, this spirit has learned how to take possession of living organisms, wreaking destruction and madness on the bodies it invades. No-one has ever survived possession by an Ungennant. Even a “master of the trade” like Dylan Dog risks experiencing to his own detriment that death is not always the end of everything… on the contrary, for some it’s just the beginning of an infinite odyssey into loneliness!
