Mark’s task is one of those that verge on the impossible: to save Captain Parker’s men isolated on the opposite shore of Lake Ontario and in the line of fire of an English schooner crossing in the waters before their location. Wounded and hungry, the militiamen are at the end of their tether. To get them out of this fix a real brainwave is needed and – needless to say! – Mark has one: get hold of the boat, transport all the injured men on it and, with the aid of the others, destroy the English shipyards.
