Young Martin Mystère is studying at Harvard University, together with his friend Chris Tower (the future director of “Elsewhere”), when their lives see the sudden appearing of a strange girl, followed by some shady characters — she’s asking for help to investigate an incredible situation whose main character was a man who lived in the second half of the 19th century, the quirky inventor of “impossible” machinery. It’s a job for the soon-to-be Good Old Uncle Marty, who plunges himself into the investigation. But a lot of things are far from clear: how can the girl not remember her past? And why is Martin suspicious of Chris?

Artwork: Bruno Brindisi, Esposito Bros., Lucio Filippucci, Paolo Morales e Davide De Cubellis, Giuseppe Palumbo, Daniele Caluri As usual, attached to the “Speciale” you’ll find the mini-album “Martin Mystère presenta” – to aptly celebrate the 30th year of the series, it will reveal for the first time a “backstage” of Martin’s first adventure. How did the GOUM choose to allow the creation of a comics series about his adventures? Three short stories will show you a “what if” version of Martin Mystère’s first album, with three different “interpretations” of the Detective of the Impossible.
