The bungling tricksters Dee and Kelly, the agents of Elsewhere, and the ever-present Angie, reappear in an adventure which takes place between Florence and Prague, in which the Detective of the Impossible has to struggle against a classic figure of the fantastic and of Gothic literature: the Golem. But far from being a threatening figure without a soul, the artificial man proves to be a fascinating and romantic character.
