While Gros-Jean escapes from the Blackfoot camp, thanks to an Indian friend, the pards and Jim Brandon force Captain Tanakis, who was keeping them prisoner on the boat named Arrow, in the pay of the Canadian transcontinental railroad saboteurs, to come out into the open. Having found Gros-Jean, our heroes blow up the scoundrels powder-magazine and, in Ottawa, the corrupt minister Fairbanks ends up behind bars. A while later, on the Navajo reservation, the witch Zhenda returns from oblivion and kidnaps her son Sagua, after having killed his wife, letting her be torn to pieces by a ferocious panther!
