While the villainous plotters are recruiting some more dregs of humankind to sweep away the remaining farmers who’ve managed to come through the incursions unscathed, Kit and Tiger join up with Tex and Carson, just in time to reduce to ashes, with fire and dynamite, the ranches belonging to the cattle raisers Blender and Bucker, loathsome schemers who are behind the despicable affair of the despoiled lands. And in the Petrified Forest, the pards and their yokel buddies resist the rancheros’ guns, until the cavalry bugles ring out. Quite a long time later, an old enemy of Tex’s, long thought to be as dead as the dodo, turns up again in Gallup: it’s Paul Balder, known as El Carnicero!

In this issue: the previous adventure (by Bonelli/Letteri) comes to a conclusion from p. 5 to p. 86; from p. 87 to p. 114, "Sull’orlo del baratro" (by Nizzi/Fusco).
