Kit is tied to the torture pole! Tex, Carson and Tiger Jack – flanked by Jim Brandon’s Redcoats – free him with a commando type action: the Indians who are following them, blown up by the pards on a natural rocky bridge, fall to the bottom of the gorge where they used to throw their enemies after having crucified them! One of the survivors, the witch doctor Ho-Kuan, decides to make a pact directly with the ring-leader, Bonnet. But by now the fate of the gang of speculators is sealed: the shaman dies and the gold accumulated by the band sinks into Hudson Bay.
