Who is the fifth man of Phil Carver’s bunch of rogues, the band’s informer? Where is the loot from the robbery hidden? The pards’ colts will resolve all the mysteries. Months later, in Arizona, a railway company approaches Tex and Carson for help in resolving a thorny problem: the tracks of a line under construction have run aground at Canyon Diablo, a hellish township teeming with assassins, a cutthroats’ hideout, which has illegally been built on the tracks. It’s a place where the representatives of the Law are immediately riddled with bullets as soon as they appear.
