Plenty Horse, a Brulè Sioux, is the most fanatic of the Indian chiefs leading the rebellion provoked by Wovoka’s strange prophesies. Tex has to toil hard to curb him: slipperier than an eel, captured following the failed assault on Fort Churchill, the Native American manages to escape, only to then be seized again. His bloody dreams of revolt rot in the end with him in a cell! A while later, a numerous gang of disquieting masked riders attacks a group of Navajos on the edges of the Painted Desert...
