Although it might not seem so, this is a love story. Admittedly, it starts and ends with people being murdered, but what can one do about that?... Basically, these are just details! The fact is that the man who was photographed – unbeknowns to him – in a motel for “common-law” couples is a guy who’s particularly insistent on his privacy, to the point of obliging Nick, Marvin and the other detectives of the precinct to follow a trail that’s literally studded with corpses!
