The Arctic base where the Alfa Agents are trapped has been commandeered by a horde of zombies, beings devoid of rational faculties, driven by a primordial homicidal instinct! The cause of everything seems to be a mysterious compound, Stillframe, synthesized by the scientists who were working in the laboratories on the base. After locating and joining up again with Lieutenant Lara Bowman (she has miraculously survived the murderous fury of these creatures that don’t seem to have anything human about them left at all), our heroes succeed in barricading themselves inside the control room.
