Orbiting station of Melpomene. As he searches for Walsh, the killer who has to kill Councilor Joan Grant, Nathan enters into contact with Jamie, a girl who’s been infiltrated into the movement that gravitates around the separatists. Jamie directs him towards Blaster, who appears to be the head of the organization that enabled the murderer to arrive at the space station. Meanwhile, however, Walsh seems to be able to act undisturbed, and he goes about preparing his trap, while shady political scheming and plotting is gathering pace unbeknownst either to Nathan or his young colleague Nicole Bayeux…
