The defeat of the dangerous Doctor Phybes closes the story about young Jaspar, although this does not necessarily signify a happy ending. Afterwards we move to Egypt: here Martin, Diana and Java are guests of a mysterious masked woman, who claims to come from Atlantis and to be immortal. But living forever cannot always be considered a gift, and Martin is asked to locate an ancient machine dating from Atlantis, which will render her mortal once more…
