Doctor Phybes, a brilliant and unprincipled scientist, has for years been conducting a terrible experiment: after procuring himself a new born child, Jaspar, he has raised him in a laboratory, managing to make him absorb practically all human knowledge, thereby transforming him into a sort of monster. One of Phybes’ assistants rebels at this cruelty, and tries to rescue Jaspar from his destiny. Martin Mystère, investigating the matter, finds himself face to face with the crazy scientist.
