The ship “Dragoon”, with Captain Honest Joe as its skipper, has set sail towards the foggy Northern Atlantic, a region of legends, sea monsters and stormy waters, to uncover the mystery of a lost continent. A crew of intrepid mariners has gathered on board the ship: as well as Zagor and Cico, there’s also Dexter Green, his trusty “right-hand man”, Yambo, the small ship’s hand Felix and several enigmatic “men of the North”. Chasing Mephistophelean professor Richter’s “Erebus”, the “Dragoon” has to wrestle with the Maelstrom, the horrifying swirling eddy that gobbles up boats, and in fact the “Dragoon” risks being sucked down into its bottomless abyss…
