Zagor captures Samuel Toby, a dangerous serial killer that had joined George Mac Leod’s expedition. But, before being arrested, Toby injures Chico, and thus even Zagor and his friend must accept the Coleman’s hospitality and go to Stone Hill. Among Coleman’s men is also “Digging” Bill, who convinces Chico and Bat Batterton to open a mysterious crystal sarcophagus, full of jewels, in which lies a strange corpse…
