Anyone who is suspected of practising magic arts will be listed on police records and will be placed under surveillance by the Authorities. This, in not so many words, is the essence of what has been enacted by the World Government after the appalling infestation of Manhattan. Therefore, the very same persons who were called in to help cope with those dire straits, yesterday hailed as heroes, today are being treated as enemies. Myriam and Jasmine are kept under observation in a military detention center where Rickman is the chief in command, and there is not a soul who can help them… Jonathan’s soul is still wandering in the interdimensional limbo. Or maybe not?
