Thanks to Tex and Tiger Jack’s cleverness, Sergeant Torrance’s deserting soldiers and their Indian wives break the siege around the village and, with the help of the Papago sachem, Corvo Grigio, they cross the border with Mexico! The half-breed, Mickey Finn, ends up in hell with his band of bounty killers, while Major Craig, who had ordered the dastardly man-hunt, is put on trial and expelled from the army. But revenge blinds the evil officer: after the humiliating sentence, before being killed by Tex, he shoots and kills poor Torrance!
