The infernal Pedro “Cobra” Galindez is behind the diabolical plan conceived to get Cochise, great friend of Tex’s, to decipher the map that leads to the gold bars stolen by the Apaches! Tex and Carson are tied up and dragged to an abandoned Mexican town, den of Galindez’ gang. Meanwhile, Captain Baker, unscrupulous traitor in cahoots with the bandidos, returns to Fort Huachuca and lays the blame for the slaughter of the military patrol on the pards. But Cochise, informed by his son, Tahzay, knows the truth and attacks Galindez’ den with his warriors, freeing the two rangers.
