Chemically put into hibernation by a scientist, three horrendous dinosaurs were sleeping in the Mariposa’s hold. Two of the prehistoric monsters, reawakened after the shipwreck, spread terror on the island of Providencia and cancel Steven Brooke’s plans of conquer, before Tex and his son, Kit, avert their threat as well! Months later, in the Mojave Desert, Aquila della Notte and Piccolo Falco run into a strange caravan that is moving a wretched tribe of Shoshones to Death Valley.
