After slaughtering Padre Matías and plundering the mission’s treasure destined to the San Domingo campesinos, the brothers José and Paco Cardenas had invested their ill-gotten gains in profitable activities at El Paso… but now Tex and Carson come to settle the accounts with the two murderers. Paco, now the owner of a saloon, is given to believe that the murdered priest is still alive: By watching Paco’s reaction to this news, our heroes obtain clear evidence of his guilt, and so they apprehend him, despite the protection of his minders. As for the ranchero José, the pards spirit his horses away from the corral…
