Tuscon is held in thrall by a criminal organization to which the cream the city’s high society belongs: the slippery merchant Mark Winter; Fred Winter, owner of a saloon; the director of the “Herald”, John Stark; mayor Brockman, and Al Borman, who sells mining concessions. A bunch of rogues whose main aim is to foment an Apache revolt: the plan is that after being decimated by the “yellow coats”, the surviving Indians would be driven back onto the reservations, freeing up immense stretches of land ready for greedy real estate speculation. But the scoundrels have failed to take Tex into account!
