The villains responsible for slaughtering the the guards who were escorting a load of silver prove to be an absolute pest and Tex has his work cut out to getter the better of them, but in the end they’re defeated. And in Tombstone, again thanks to Aquila della Notte, the curtain falls on another knavish rogue, Wendell the gambler. Months later, in Great Falls in the north of Montana, Tex and the Captain of the Redcoats Jim Brandon meet by chance in a saloon. The two friends have the same mission: to secure into their own custody a dangerous instigator to rebellion, currently behind bars in the local jail: Roger Goudret, who aims to foment revolution.
