Tex convinces Corvo Giallo, chief of the Paiutes, to bury the war hatchet and destroy the guns gotten illegally from Andy Holt (an ugly mug who hides a secret identity) in exchange for the cattle pillaged from Jim Elmer. The arms come from the self-styled General Quantrell, who steals them from the armies fighting in the Civil War to palm them off on the Paiutes, the Crows and the Shoshones: tracked down by the Rangers, the coward tries to run away but falls off his horse, breaking his neck! Months later, the pards help a Hopi tied to the back of a charging buffalo: the beast is adorned with an enigmatic fetish...

In this issue: the preceding adventure extends from page 3 to page 45; from page 45 to page 141, “La traccia di sangue”; from page 141 to page 152, “L’enigma del feticcio”; from page 152 to page 162, second part of “Sulla pista di Fort Apache”, a non-Tex story with Bonelli as script-writer and artwork by Franco Donatelli.
