Zagor and Cico, allied with Blondie, escort a group of dancers and their pianist to the town where they plan to work in a saloon. One of the girls, some time ago, escaped from the men of Mark King, the 'King of Bandits,' who views women as property to exploit. Blondie intends to confront him in the citadel called 'Kingdom,' where he has his hideout and shelters numerous outlaws, and Zagor decides to help her. But is Blondie a loyal friend or a treacherous ally of his diabolical foe? To find out, our hero must venture into the enemy’s lair, surrounded by outlaws eager to take him down, while Cico braves the desert to help him.
