Cico Story

For weeks it has been raining in the Darkwood forest. To chase away the boredom, Zagor asks Cico to tell him about his past. We discover that the pot-bellied Mexican was born in Veracruz and took on an endless series of different jobs before becoming the Spirit with the Hatchet's most faithful pard: he was a shoeshine boy, a musician and even a bullfighter. Following a military plot, he then had to flee to Texas, where other funny and incredible adventures awaited him...

Released in 1979, Cico Story is the title that inaugurated the brilliant series of Specials dedicated to Zagor's friendly sidekick. Written by Guido Nolitta and illustrated by Gallieno Ferri, this adventure is now available in bookstores.
