Trying to find the wily merchant, Van Mulder, who had Digging Bill's map stolen, Zagor and his friends come to the lagoon of the painted rocks. It is believed that the treasure of the "Urca De Lima” could be there after the famous pirate Blackbeard and his companions seized and hid it. It is also said that the restless ghosts of the pirates who concealed the treasure there roam the marshes in the hinterland. Is it only a legend, or is there something that gets rid of the unwary people who venture into the swamps?
