A terrible trap is set for the defenseless Apaches of Chief Juan José by the sinister mayor of Santa Rita, but some Indians manage to save themselves and raise the alarm. Only the diplomacy of Aquila della Notte calms the spirits of the sakem in a gathering organized by Cochise, avoiding an Indian war! But this certainly does not solve the matter, and it is natural that Tex sides with the red people and their bold warriors, including the proud Mangas Coloradas.

No greedy speculation of the whites will go unpunished, and so, some time later, when the Apache friends are about to be deported to Florida on a military convoy, Tex and Carson will also be at the side of Geronimo and Ulzana, always on the side of Justice!
