La grande invasione

A funeral at windswept Wackett provides Tex with the opportunity to reminisce about a tragic episode from his past: the great raid by the Comanches, under the leadership of Quanah Parker, Tonkawa and Buffalo Chief, who stormed across the land to drive the settlers out of the territory of Texas. Gathering together and assembling the defenseless homesteaders is no easy task and many are doomed to fall victim to the Comanche fury; furthermore, the group of settlers in full flight are joined by a troop of soldiers who are escorting a squad of convicts. And, like in the prophecy, the wolf lies down with the lamb - albeit keeping a safe distance - as they await the attack by the Indian warriors…
