The “Black Mountain Asylum”, on the hills surrounding Frisco Bay, is a modern mental hospital where, thanks to the miraculous therapy of a famous psychiatrist, even homicidal lunatics have a hope of being healed. On the other hand, Tex and Carson believe that the gallows are the only cure for a certain kind of killer. Their doubts increase when a few wealthy citizens go crazy unexpectedly, and strange, inexplainable robberies create difficulties for the police led by Tom Devlin. Can the solution to these mysteries be inside the model asylum?
