General Zamora, the illegitimate governor of Yucatán and the main cause of the natives’ revolt guided by Donna Manuela and Matías, is stripped of his office. The pards, as bearers of this good news, persuade Matías to abandon Yama, after which they free Tiger Jack. The beautiful Manuela sacrifices herself to save Tex while the diabolical son of Mefisto plummets into the boiling waters of an underground river. Quite a long time later, in Arizona, the Indian scouts of Apache Kid rebel against an undeserved punishment, and only give up after Tex has promised them justice... but the “blue jackets” have a forked tongue!
