In the guise of a princess, Islen is an extraordinary creature, heir to her mother’s dark powers. Arzhur is a disgraced knight, whose sword serves no noble cause and with no chance of redemption. As they flee, both finally bring to light the secrets of their pasts, and the weight of what their families have heaped upon them. With great narrative wisdom, Hubert and Vincent Mallié once again place us in front of the mirror of the fairy tale to give us the final part of this story, at the same time epic and intimate: a search for emancipation, with an extremely touching ending.
