Professor Lovestock, an English scholar who’s come to the South West of the United state to study Precolumbian civilizations, happens to meet Link Miller, a man who just a few months before was lucky enough to discover an abandoned pueblo in a hidden valley. Lovestock is convinced that the artifact Miller has unearthed in that area belonged to the ancient vanished people of the Anasazis, and so he has decided to prepare an archeological expedition. During the journey, however, the members of the expedition clash with some young Hopi indians who don’t look favorably on the idea of white men rummaging around among the tombs of the ancestors of their people. The ambitious warrior Tumak is determined to carry out a massacre as a means of laying claim to the sacred nature of the place and the rights of his people. Tex, summoned by Tasupi the witchdoctor, is given the task of preventing a bloodbath in the valley…
