Nothing can stop the journey Tex and his pards have undertaken to clear Jim Brandon! With the complicity of friends of the pirate Larouche, our heroes, changing boats so as to try to cover their tracks and escape the tight network of checkpoints set up by the River Police, head up towards Ottawa. Will the conspirators who had Brandon unjustly convicted manage to erase all traces of the plot before Tex gets to the Canadian capital?
